Delete your AwaySwing account
How to delete your account and what happens to your data.
In the app
- Open AwaySwing and go to Settings.
- Tap Account and privacy, then Delete my account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.

Without the app
Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address on your account if it has one, and say the mobile number or email you sign in with. We check the account is yours, delete it, and reply to say it's done, within 30 days.
What's deleted
Your sign-in, your name, mobile number, email addresses and profile photo, the teams and matches you follow, your notification settings, your poll answers and your phones' notification tokens.
What stays
Scorecards you appear in keep your name as plain text, because they're the record of matches other people played too. Teams and tournaments you ran stay for the people in them. Encrypted backups roll over within five weeks, and crash reports (which don't name you) go after 90 days.
